– Place drip tray under unit for workshop cranes - VAS 6208-
and then unfasten each retaining clip in turn -Arrows-, then
dismantle the coolant hoses from the heat exchanger on the
heating unit.
– Move clear vacuum hose at air intake pipe -2-.
– Unscrew bolt -2- and remove screw-type clip.
– Remove bolt -1- and nuts -arrows- and tie up catalytic con‐
verter.
Note
Do not bend decoupling element more than 10°. It may be dam‐
aged
– Unscrew bolts -arrows- and remove bracket.
– Loosen hose -2- for activated carbon filter.
– Disconnect connector -1-.
– Open the catch mechanisms with a screwdriver -Arrow-.
– Loosen the hose clip -3-, remove the coolant hose.
