– Remove securing bolt -arrows- for gearbox.
– Pull off connector for oil level and oil temperature sender -
G266-
.
– Unscrew all sump securing bolts -arrows-.
– Unscrew sump securing bolts on gearbox side -arrows- using
Allen key, long reach - T10058- .

The sump is sealed with liquid sealant ⇒ Electronic parts
catalogue .

When hardened, the sealant has a high adhesive strength.
– Carefully lever off sump from cylinder block at recess -arrow-
using assembly lever.
– Remove oil pan. Loosen sump with light blows of a rubber
headed hammer if necessary.
– Eliminate the sealant residue from cylinder block, using a flat
rasp.
