Limiting maximum capacity
•
You can limit the output power of the Green Motion Building through
the switch DP1 located on the rear of the front cover.
•
Refer to Table 1 to select the appropriate configuration of the unit
depending on the maximum capacity of your electrical installation.
Switching on the unit
•
For wall-mounted Green Motion Home units: Check that the unit is
correctly fixed to the wall in accordance with local regulations.
•
For column-mounted units: Check that the unit and the column are
correctly installed in accordance with local regulations.
•
Check that the AC GRID connections have been made correctly in
accordance with local regulations.
•
Perform continuity checks on the connections of the protective
conductor, insulation resistance, RCD triggering current, triggering
time etc., in accordance with local regulations.
•
Verify that the housing cover is closed and secured with the
fixing screws.
•
If the checks listed above were successful, proceed as follows:
•
Switch on the AC GRID circuit breakers.
•
Wait for the LED light to turn on.
Configuring and commissioning the charger
•
Refer to the installation manual for instructions on configuration and
commissioning steps.
•
To remove the plug from the charger, pull the plug vertically then
horizontally as indicated in Figure 6.
Standard wiring
•
Each EV charger must be connected via a separate RCD
(Residual Current Device/fault-current circuit breaker) if
required by local regulations. No other consumers may be
connected to this circuit (Figure 3).
•
Refer to the installation manual and local standards for further
details on requirements in terms of circuit breakers and
minimal cross-sections of conductors.
Electrical connections and terminals
•
Open the housing of the Green Motion Building by unscrewing
the eight screws as indicated in Figure 4.
•
When removing the cover of the unit, please make sure to not
break any cables from the electronic board.
•
Disconnect the connection cables from the front cover.
•
Insert the power supply cable from the bottom of the unit.
Remove the cable glands, if necessary.
•
The electrical connection is made on the power supply
terminals located at the bottom-right of the unit's electronic
board (Figure 5).
•
If using a three-phase power supply, connect the phases (L1,
L2, L3), neutral (N) and earth (PE) wires of the AC (distribution)
grid to the power supply terminal block, ensuring correct
assignment (Figure 5).
•
If using a single-phase power supply, connect the phase (L1),
neutral (N) and earth (PE) wires of the AC (distribution) grid to
the power supply terminal block, ensuring correct assignment
(Figure 5).
•
It is prohibited to connect the unit to a grid circuit with
a three-phase IT grid configuration
