Using Links
Links have seve ral purposes, i n cluding jumping to a diffe re n t
p age , jumping to a diffe rent site, or even initiating a phone
call from some sites. Links are shown inside of bra ckets
( [ ] ), and you can norm a l ly use the left soft key to select a
link when it is highlighted.
Initiating a Phone Call during a MiniBrowser
Session
You may initiate a phone call from the MiniBrowser if the
site you are using supports this fe a t u re (the phone nu m b e r
m ay be highlighted and the left soft key will appear as
“ C a l l .” ) . In most cases, you can also use the
key to call
the nu m b e r. The browser connection will be term i n a t e d
when you initiate the call.After you end the call, your phone
will re t u rn to Standby mode.
Receiving a phone call while in the MiniBrowser
You can re c e i ve phone calls while in a MiniBrowser session.
D u ring a MiniBrowser session your phone and your serv i c e
p rovider pass info rmation back and fo rth in packe t s , this is
done for efficiency and it reduces your service access cost.
Your phone is connected to the service provider only duri n g
the ex ch a n ge of a packe t ; the Service Indicator will be pre-
sent when a packet is being ex ch a n ge d . Your phone store s
this info rmation contained in a packet in memory for you to
u s e .W h e n ever packe t s , or info rm a t i o n , is not being
ex ch a n ged your phone can re c e i ve calls. To answer a call
while in the MiniBrowser press the
key. When yo u
complete your call you are automatically re t u rned to yo u r
M i n i B rowser session where you we re when you answe re d
your call.
