To place an outgoing call in Lock mode:
◆ To call an emergency or pri o rity nu m b e r, enter the nu m-
ber and then press

◆ To place normal outgoing calls, p ress to display the
L o ck Code scre e n , and then enter the lock code.When the

Locking the Phone
The Security menu allows you to lock the phone

m a nu a l ly at any time, o r
◆
a u t o m a t i c a l ly the next time that the phone is turned on.
This setting is convenient in that you can turn your phone
o ff at night, k n owing that if someone unauthori z e d
attempts to turn it on and use it, t h ey will not be able to
do so because the phone will power up in lock mode.
To lock the phone:
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Security and enter the lock code.
3 . P ress for Lock Phone.
4 . P ress the navigation keys to select an option:

O F F : The phone unlocks immediately.
◆ N OW: The phone locks immediately and stays locke d
until the lock code is entere d .
