Turning your Samsung
Phone On and Off
To Turn it On
When yo u ’re re a dy to turn your phone on, f u l ly extend the
antenna for best re c e p t i o n .S i m p ly press
and thre e
things happen; the LED comes on, the phone beeps, and the
s t a rtup graphics begin to play. The phone will search for a
s i g n a l ; when a signal is fo u n d , the
icon appears and the
phone enters Standby mode.You can make and re c e i ve calls
n ow.
To Turn it Off
To turn your phone off, p ress and hold until the powe r
o ff graphics begin to play ;t h e n , the power off sound play s ,
and the display goes bl a n k . Notice that when the phone is
o ff, nothing is displayed on the scre e n .
N o t e :
If is pressed for less than one second, the phone
will not turn off. This helps keep your phone from being
t u rned off accidentally.
