Your Phone’s Modes
Standby Mode
S t a n d by is the re a dy state of your Samsung Phone.The phone
goes into Standby mode soon after you turn it on, or whenev-
er you bri e fly press
at any time.When your phone is in
S t a n d by mode, you will see the greeting (that’s the message
d i s p l ayed when you turn on your phone). If you enter a
phone nu m b e r, you can press
to dial it, or press t o
s ave it in the Phone Book.
P ress at any time to re t u rn to Standby mode. Be care-
f u l ; if yo u ’re on a call when you press , yo u ’ll re t u rn to
S t a n d by mode, but it also disconnects the call. P ress
s eve ral times or hold it down to re t u rn to Standby mode
without ending the call.
The Main Menu is accessed when you are in Standby mode.

the Main Menu .
Conversation Mode
You can place and answer calls only when your Samsung
Phone is powe red on. D u ring a call, the phone is in
C o nve rsation mode.
