Automatic Hyphenation
When you dial a nu m b e r, hyphenation is perfo rmed automati-
c a l ly by the phone. This hyphenates nu m b e rs as fo l l ow s :

D i gits fo l l owing a pause are not hyphenated (see “ Pa u s e
D i a l i n g ”on page 26).
I t ’s easy to turn off this hyphenation if you want to. H e re it is:

to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress
for Setup.
3 . P ress
for Auto Hyphen.
4 . P ress the scroll keys to select On or Off.
5 . When the desired option display s ,p ress
to save the
s e t t i n g .
Anykey Answer
