Placing a Call using Voice Dialing
To place a call using voice dialing:
1 . P ress and hold , or open the phone, depending on
the setting. The phone prompts you to say the name.Wa i t
for the beep.
2 . After the beep, s ay the name into the flip cove r. S ay the
name as mu ch like your ori ginal re c o rding as possibl e .
◆ The phone places the call if it recognizes the name.
◆
If the phone does not recognize the name, it pro m p t s
for the name ag a i n .
◆ If the phone is unable to recognize the name after two
a t t e m p t s , the fo l l owing message display s :“Cannot re c-
ognize name. Please ch e ck name.” . The phone also say s
“cannot recognize name.” . Then the phone re t u rns to
S t a n d by mode and you can try the call again later.
Reviewing Voice Dialing Entries
To rev i ew voice dialing entri e s :
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Voice Dial.
3 . P ress for Rev i ew. A list of entries display s .
◆ P ress the digit key to select the desired entry, or
◆ p ress the scroll keys to select an entry and press .
4 . The re c o rded name play s , and if you do nothing, yo u r
e n t i re voice dial list is scrolled and each entry playe d .
When the last entry is playe d , the phone re t u rns to
S t a n d by mode.
5 . While listening, you can press to re t u rn to the Vo i c e
Dial menu or to re t u rn to Standby mode.
