Ringer Options
Your Samsung phone provides a va riety of ri n ger options.
These ri n ger options allow you to customize the type of ri n g
( v i b ra t e ,b e l l , or lamp) and the volume of the selected ri n g
t y p e .A l s o , the Diffe rential Ring fe a t u re alows you to know
when someone important is calling yo u .
One-Touch Vibrate Ringer
You can quick ly set your phone to vibrate instead of ri n g
when an incoming call or message arri ve s .When in Standby
m o d e ,p ress and hold the
to turn the vibrate ri n ger on
or off.When vibrate ring is on, the icon appears in the top
line of the display and the message “ - Vi b ra t e - ”d i s p l ay s .W h e n
t u rned off neither of these indicators display.
Fast Ringer Mute
Mute the ri n ger during an incoming call by pressing the vo l-
ume key (
) once. At the end of your call, your save d
ring volume setting is automatically re s t o re d .
Ring Type Setting for Voice and Message Calls
This option enables you to set a unique ring type for incom-
ing voice and message calls.
To set the ring type for voice calls:
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Sounds.
3 . P ress for Ring.
4 . P ress for Ring Ty p e .
