Display Options
Your Samsung Phone provides the fo l l owing display options:
Backlight Control
You have seve ral options for setting how the LCD back l i g h t
o p e ra t e s .When the phone is cl o s e d , the backlight remains off
thus conserving battery powe r. When the flip cover is open,
the length of time that the backlight remains on can be set as
explained below. Remember that backlight use drains yo u r
b a t t e ry fa s t e r.
To select backlight options:
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Display.
3 . P ress for Back L i g h t .
4 . P ress the scroll keys to scan the options:
10(after last key p re s s ) , 30 seconds (after last key p re s s ) ,
Flip Open, or A lways Off.
5 . When the desired option display s ,p ress to save the
s e t t i n g .
N o t e :
When the phone is attached to the optional Hands-
Free Car Kit, the backlight remains on.
