Program the Phone for Voice-Activated Dialing
P ro gramming your phone for Vo i c e - A c t i vated Dialing is easy.
The phone provides voice prompts and screen displays to
guide you through the re c o rding pro c e s s . To pro gram the
phone for Vo i c e - A c t i vated Dialing, fi rst make sure you are in a
fa i r ly quiet env i ro n m e n t ,t h e n :
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Voice Dial.
3 . P ress for Record . The phone will prompt you to say
the name you want to pro gra m .
4 . Wait for the beep and then say the name. For best re s u l t s ,
use names with two to fi ve syllabl e s , or use both a fi rs t
and last name. The phone stores the name as a sample
fi rs t , and then prompts for the name ag a i n .
5 . Respond to the prompt by repeating the name after the
b e e p . The phone stores the name as a second sample and
then requests the phone nu m b e r.
6 . Enter the phone number by pressing the digit key s .
7 . To store the phone nu m b e r, p ress . The name (if it is
a l re a dy in the Phone Book) and number display, a l o n g
with the notification “ R e c o rd e d ” . The screen then re t u rn s
to the Voice Dialing menu .
