System Selection
The system selection fe a t u re of your phone enables you to
choose how your phone will ro a m . Roaming is a fe a t u re
w h i ch is only re l evant in areas where there are usually at
least two cellular service prov i d e rs which are re fe rred to as
“A” and “ B ”and have valid roaming agre e m e n t s .Your serv i c e
p rovider will provide you info rmation about this service or
the best roaming methods for yo u .

S t a n d a rd - This option allows you to provide the best sys-
tem automatically.
◆ Home Only - with this setting, you cannot ro a m . If yo u r
home system is not ava i l able then your call will not be
connected and the No Service indicator (
) is displaye d .
In some service areas an operator may come on line ask-
ing you how you would like to pay for the call.

A Only - In a wireless service are a ,t h e re are usually two
s e rvice prov i d e rs which are re fe rred to as A and B.Yo u r
s e rvice provider will provide you info rmation about this
when you setup serv i c e .With this setting, you will only be
able to roam in the “A” n e t wo rk or system.
◆ B Only - This wo rks just like the “A Only ” setting ex c e p t
you will only be able to roam in the “ B ”n e t wo rk or sys-
t e m . To select the system:
1 . P ress to display the Main Menu .
2 . P ress for Setup.
3 . P ress for System Sel.
4 . P ress the scroll keys to select the desired system.
5 . When the desired option display s ,p ress to save the
s e t t i n g .
