10.1.2  Removing the Air Filter Cover

 

 

To remove the air filter cover, follow these steps: 

 

1.  Locate the three captive screws at the top of the air filter cover, as shown in 

Figure 10-3

. The XLS-832700 has three screws, and the XLS-820500 and 

XLS-812300 have two screws.

2.  Using a #2 Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws. 

 

3.  Lower the top edge of the air filter cover away from the frame. See 

Figure 10-4
