Removal of protective foam block of the drawer
Open the drawer of the QIAcuity instrument by pressing the physical button on the instrument or
tapping
Eject Tray on the instrument and remove the protective foam. For QIAcuity Eight instrument,
remove the foam of both drawers.
Installing a fresh copy of the QIAcuity Software Suite
Visit www.qiagen.com and go to the Software section of the QIAcuity product page to check if an
updated software version is available for download.
The QIAcuity Software Suite is designed to work with Windows ® 10 operating system. The following
browsers were tested in the QIAcuity Software Suite:

Mozilla Firefox: version 100.0.1

Microsoft Edge: version 101.0.1210.47

Google Chrome: version 101.0.4951.67
The QIAcuity Four and Eight instruments are supplied with a notebook; the QIAcuity One instrument
can be optionally supplied with a notebook. See the following table for the recommended notebook
requirements.

Note : The QIAcuity Software Suite was tested on latest available Windows 10 update. Later
updates should not cause any malfunctioning; however, we recommend to consider only critical
security updates.
Note : We are monitoring Windows 10 security update compatibility and browser updates with our
QIAcuity Software Suite application on a regular basis. So far we have not detected an update that
lead to failure of our Software Suite Application Service. We will continue to monitor security
updates and will inform you in case of any issue we might see in future.
