Plate Ownership
Plate Ownership allows users to assign one or more users to a specific Plate. A user who creates a
new Plate, imports a plate, or restores a plate from the Archive is assigned automatically as an
owner of the Plate.
Note : For imported or restored plates, the operating user will automatically be added as plate
owner if no plate owner is already assigned to the plate or if the assigned plate owner is a
deactivated owner. For upgraded plates, owners from original plate will be preserved if they exist
in the current QIAcuity Soft Suite; otherwise, the operating user will be set as plate owner.
Assigning the owner of the Plate
1. On the Plates tab (Plates Overview), please find the Plate that you want to assign the owner.
2. Choose the Plate from Plates Overview.
3. In the General Data tab, you can find the “Plate Ownership” field (below “Labels”).
