Using the Program Guide
• One of the following displays appear if you have selected a non-PPV program with an
existing timer. The example shows a display for a program that has an event timer set (on
left) and a display for a program that has a VCR timer set (on right). Use the scroll bars to
highlight either the Clear Event Timer or Clear VCR Timer option and proceed to the next
step.
Note: If you have selected a PPV program, refer to Modifying or Canceling PPV Purchases on page 50.
4 Press the A button. The timer is cleared (deleted). The program guide displays blue (normal
programs) or purple (Premium programs). The timer symbol no longer displays.
5 Press the EXIT button to exit the program guide and return to the currently selected channel.
Modifying or Canceling PPV Purchases
You can use the program guide to suspend, resume or cancel a PPV timer. Additionally, you have
the option of adding or deleting a VCR timer. Similar to the previous section on timers, there is an
added element, the PPV purchase. However, there are no additional instance decisions The following
table lists all the possible options. Only some of these display depending on the type of timer and its
current state (active or suspended).

Displays when you have purchased an event but did not set
a VCR timer. If you select this option, the timer remains in
a suspended state (not used, but still listed as a timer) until
it is cleared, resumed or the program time passes.
