Select the [
EMAIL FEATURE
] from the menu.
2.
Click [
Edit
] next to [
EMAIL SERVER
].
3.
Enter email address (from), email server
information, and time zone.
4.

Submit

5.
Close the web browser.
Setting the email

for Internet fax

EMAIL FEATURE
]
Enter the email server information to send Internet fax
from the unit via an email. For details about feature,
see "8.8 Internet fax" on page 119.
Setting the error
notify feature

]: The unit will send an email to registered
destinations when a problem occurs.

DISABLED
] (default): Deactivates this feature.
Registering
destinations for the
error notify feature

DESTINATION
].
3.
Enter the email address to which error
notifications will be sent and select the types of
problems.

LIFE WARNING
]: A warning indicating that the
toner cartridge or drum cartridge needs to be
replaced soon.

MEDIA PATH ERROR
]: An error indicating
that there is a problem with an input tray.
– [
LIFE ERROR
]: An error indicating that the
toner cartridge or drum cartridge needs to be
replaced.
