2.4.2  POWER OFF PROCEDURE

IMPORTANT:  DO NOT SWITCH OFF BEFORE MENU SHUTDOWN

.

Before pressing the power switch to power down, you must have
RADAR II save system data to the hard disks.

Power Off from the RE-8:

1.

On the Session Controller, press MENU/PREV (located on the Address
Keypad)

.

The system will display the Main Menu.

2.

Use the DOWN cursor key to scroll to the last sub-menu, or simply turn
the jog wheel to the right until SHUTDOWN RADAR appears in the
LCD:

3.

Press ENTER

. RADAR II will ask you to confirm the shutdown. 

4.

Use the Cursor up/down keys to change between NO and YES (or turn
the Jog Wheel to make the selection.)  Press ENTER.

The LCD will

indicate it is saving the current system state, then confirm a safe shutdown:

5.

Turn the power switch OFF.

Please Note:

After a shutdown, RADAR II cannot be operated again until the power has
been switched off then on!
