Save State Delay is specified in Seconds from 1 to 99. Make your selection using
the Numeric keys or Jog wheel, then press ENTER.
Please Note:
The Save State feature cannot be shut off indefinitely.
4.6.18 Auto Reclaim
The Auto Reclaim feature enables the system to automatically reclaim space
whenever possible, without operator intervention. This feature is enabled/disabled
via this item on the Preferences menu:
Please Note:
Auto Reclaim is enabled by default.
If Auto Reclaim is disabled, the system retains entire audio files, even if only a small
clip is being referenced by playlists. With Auto Reclaim enabled, if you start out
with a 10-minute recording and edit or repunch so that only 5 seconds of the
original recording is referenced, the system only retains the audible five seconds.
The unused 9 minutes and 55 seconds of inaccessible recording space is freed up for
further use.
Audio file storage is not trimmed or reclaimed unless the audio is no longer
accessible by the current project, the UNDO memory, or the editing clipboard
memory. RADAR II automatically tracks which audio files are shared between
multiple projects and does NOT automatically trim or delete any shared audio files.
Please Note:
The manual Reclaim Space menu item (available on the Project menu) is still
required to trim or reclaim any audio space shared by multiple projects.
To change the setting for Auto Reclaim, use the cursor keys, or Jog wheel to select
DISABLED or ENABLED, then press ENTER to continue. This value is retained
permanently - or until changed again on this menu.
4.6.19 RADARLINK Slave ID
RADARLINK is a built-in feature of the system, enabling up to 5 RADAR II
systems to be slaved together for wide-format digital multitrack recording.
RADARLINK requires each system to have a unique Slave ID number. To
set/change this number, select the menu item. The system will respond with:
