B.4.2  Modem Hookup

The modem connects to RADAR’s RE-8 Mouse Port using a 9-pin cable (pin-to-
pin wiring).  This cable is the same as a standard RE-8 cable!

If you operate with a long RE-8 cable (greater than 10 feet) you may experience
difficulty in communicating with the  modem.  Switch to a shorter RE-8 cable (sub-
6 feet) if you encounter problems.

B.4.3  Modem Menu Operation

The Modem Menu (available under the Diagnostics menu) provides a means for
controlling the modem, dialing out, hanging up, etc.  The menu is organized as
shown:

To set the modem to wait for a call (probably under the advice of Otari Technical
Support) select this menu item.  The system will respond with:
