D.2.2 Software Versions...

version of system software! If any units need to be upgraded, you will be prompted

D.3 RADARLINK ENABLE/DISABLE
(RE-8: “L”)
Please Note:
The
RADARLINK
setup items are available on the SYSTEM menu.
RADARLINK
is selected by pressing the LINK button (“L” on the RE-8
keyboard, or by selecting the RADARLINK ENABLE? menu item from the System
menu. The RADAR unit on which this selection is made is configured as the
MASTER; this may be any unit in the system. The MASTER unit is assigned an
ID of “M”, and this is displayed at the upper-right corner of the LCD window.
The RADARLINK enable/disable menu item is provided to enable
RADARLINK
operation, permitting multiple slaved RADAR systems to be controlled from one
location. (The “L” key on the RE-8 also access this function.) Upon selecting this
function, the menu will prompt you with:
If you select YES, the system will prompt you with:
A unique ID number is then assigned automatically to the other systems in the
RADARLINK
chain. In rare circumstances, a duplicate ID number will be
assigned. If this occurs, that system will display a message:
DUPLICATE ID
