Hydraulics
Valve Sections
The sections are identical except for the end caps which
contain the centering springs and detent balls. The stan
-
dard section, 1, uses a centering spring which forces the
spool to the center, neutral position when the control
lever is released.
The float section, 2, uses a centering spring to force the
spool to the center, neutral position unless the spool is
held in the detent position. When the spool is moved far
enough into the end cap, the detent balls fall into grooves
and overcome the force of centering spring. The operator
is required to move the control lever to neutral to move
the spool out of the detent position.
The float section also utilizes an anti - void cartridge,
which is threaded into each float section. The anti - void
cartridge bleeds oil into the high pressure side of the cir -
cuit when the low pressure.
NOTICE:
The anti - cavitation cartridge is not included
with the valve section. It must be purchased separately.
NOTE: Before beginning disassembly of the sections,
perform previous Valve Removal steps 1 - 15, and Valve
Disassembly steps 1 - 3.
