Connecting the 4081 to Genesys with USB-Serial

YOU ONLY NEED TO DO THIS THE FIRST TIME YOU CONNECT THE 

4081 TO THE GENESYS CONSOLE.

u

 Open up Genesys Software.

u

 Click 4081 Mic in the Genesys main window.

u

 Select 'USB Serial Options' at the top of the screen.

NB:

Ensure you disconnect all USB serial cables from Genesys before 

doing this.

u

 Click 'Auto Install' in the pop-up window.

u

 Another window will appear. Follow the on-screen instructions to Auto 

Install USB driver.

As the installation process begins, a progress bar will appear (left).

If an error message appears stating that installation has failed, 

please repeat these steps again to Auto Install.

u

 Once USB Driver installation is complete, reconnect the 4081 USB cable

ONLY.

u

 Click OK.

u

 Follow the on-screen instructions until another progression bar appears 

showing the progress of the 4081 connection.

u

 Once 4081 connection has been established, you can reconnect all other

USB cables.
