DTR
= Data Terminal Ready. Some GPS devices require this option to be checked to deliver NMEA data
RTS
= Request To Send. This option should normally be unchecked
Oudie 2: Use COM 1 for internal GPS, COM 4 for external GPS and pressure data. Use the Bluetooth
button on the previous page to setup a Bluetooth input.
Oudie IGC: COM 4 will be used regardless of the settings here. Use the Speed combo box to select the
communication speed of the external serial port.
8.14.2 Bluetooth
1. go to Menu > Settings > Input > Bluetooth
2.
press Lookup
on Oudie (only devices with SPP protocol are displayed)

Select the device
you would like to connect to
4. Press "
Pair...
"
5.
enter the PIN
of the device you are connecting to
6. connection should be established on
COM 5
(make sure the Baude rate is correct)
Some of the details such as PIN code, baude rate etc. must be obtained from the manuals of the device
where you are connecting to.
If you are connecting with the K6 Bluetooth device, please select KBT5 as your port. This will enable
additional functions which are available in the protocol for K6BT device.
