Input
The input dialog lets you choose from three different input methods for displaying a flight in Oudie 2.
Serial
You will need the Serial input to be checked to fly. On the Oudie 2 you are expected to choose the COM 1
to use internal GPS or COM 4 or Bluetooth if you are connecting to an external source.
Note: On Oudie IGC COM 4 is always selected as your input. It is also possible to select an external
source of data from Bluetooth or though the wired serial port cable (supplied in the box) but Oudie IGC
will always use its internal approved GPS and altitude sensor. It will mux this together with the external
data for navigation.
The
Port Settings...
button will let you choose
.
Bluetooth
button allows you to connect to a Bluetooth serial device
NODATA reset after
will close and reopen the COM port if NODATA is received for the selected amount
of seconds.
Ignore Checksum
will not control the checksum at the end of NMEA sentences. Do not turn this option
on unless you have a good reason to do so.
