- Automatic initialization when the scale is switched on. The indicator is initialized with
the most recently used values for reference sample quantity "nRef" and reference
sample weight "wRef."

7.7.1 Exit application, delete parameters
The value of the reference sample weight in the reference memory remains active until it
is deleted via the
key or overwritten or until the application is changed.
The reference sample weight also remains saved after the scale is turned of. You can
assign diferent functions to the
key for deleting applications. When you clear
applications, you can delete either the data stored for all applications or just selected data
stored for the active application.

7.7.2 Tare function
If you store a tare (weight value) by pressing the key, you can later enter a tare value
manually. The tare value you enter is added to the stored tare value.
Setting: [APPLIC.] - [TARE.FNC] - [NORMAL] (3.25.1) (factory setting) (see chapter
6.1.8 ).
A tare value entered manually overwrites a stored tare value (weight value). If you enter a
tare value manually, a tare value (weight value) stored later overwrites the manually
entered value.

7.7.3 Restore factory default settings
Setting: [APPLIC.] - [RESET] (9.1) (see chapter 6.1.9 ).
7.7.4 Average piece weight
Before the quantity on the platform can be calculated, the average piece weight must be
entered in the application. There are several ways to enter this value in the program:
