Suggested solutions
An exterior mirror has been displaced to-
wards the front or towards the rear by
force.
Briefly press the mirror-folding button
( page 239) repeatedly until you hear a
distinct click.
The mirror housing is engaged once more
and you can adjust the mirrors as usual
( page 239).
A side window cannot be closed auto-
matically or opens again slightly when
being closed manually.
The side window is no longer correctly
set.
Press the button again immediately and
keep it depressed for approximately one
second after closing.
A side window is obstructed during clos-
ing.

Risk of injury
If the side window is obstructed during
automatic or manual closing, the closing
procedure is interrupted.
An object has become trapped be-
tween the window and the door
frame.
There is something in the window
guide rail which is preventing the
window from being raised.
Release the button.
The side window opens slightly.
Open the side window.
Remove the object.
Close the side window.
Make sure that nobody can become
trapped.
