COMAND introduction
Adjusting the treble or bass
Select "Sound" "Treble" or "Bass" .
The previously selected setting is indi-
cated by an empty bar.

To change the setting: slide q m r or
turn y m z until the desired treble or
bass setting is reached.
To store the setting: press n .
The setting is stored and you exit the
menu.
To exit the menu without storing:
press the L back button or slide
o m p .
Adjusting the balance or fade
The balance can be used to set whether
the sound is to be louder on the driver’s
side or the front-passenger side.
With the fade you can set whether the
sound is louder at the front or rear of the
vehicle.
Select "Sound" "Balance/fader" .

To change the setting: slide q m r or
slide o m p until the desired balance/
fader setting is reached.
To store the setting: press n .
The setting is stored and you exit the
menu.
To exit the menu without storing:
Press the L back button.
Surround sound*
If your vehicle is equipped with the
harman/kardon LOGIC7 ® Surround
Sound system, you can select
"LOGIC7 ® on" and "LOGIC7 ® off" .

and multi-channel audio formats, it may be nec-
essary to set the audio format ( page 87) and
( page 94).
