There are outputs that “copy” the input signals coming from the chassis of the vehicle. These outputs are activated every time the respective
inputs are activated and, in the same way, they turn off when the input signal is turned off.

Control of door
with ramps
The system SCML controls the doors and ramps of the vehicle through electro-pneumatic systems.The activation of a service door works as
the following way:
1. Supposing that initially the door is closed and the vehicle is stopped.
2. At this moment the output of the blockage pin of the ramps is activated and the signals of closed door and closed ramp (“ground” signal)
send signal to the modules of the SCML.
3. When the driver presses a button to open the door, a positive signal is sent to some modules of the SCML. Then the module makes the
following sequence of activation:
a) Turning off of the blockage pin of the ramp;
b) Activation of the output opens the ramp until the signal of the micro-key of opened ramp send a signal (ground) to the module.
c) Activation of the output opens the door for 2 seconds.
4. When the driver presses a button to close the door a positive signal is sent to some modules of the SCML. Then the module makes the
following sequence of activation:
a) Activation of the close door output until the signal of the micro-key of closed ramp send a signal (ground) to the module.
b) Activation of the close ramp output until the micro-key of closed ramp send a signal to the module.
c) Activation of the output of the ramp blockage pin.
Yes
Control of the
doors without
ramps (emergency
doors)
Doors without ramps, each operation of the door takes 10 seconds to be accomplished after the button is pressed (opening and closing). In
the Ligeirinho model vehicles the driver’s door (front right) does not have this delay of 10 seconds of activation.
Yes
Buzzer of the
emergency
doors
The doors that do not have ramps (emergency doors) there is a buzzer, which indicates the movement of the door. This buzzer starts ringing 10
seconds before the door is activated and keeps ringing for more 10 seconds after the door is activated. There is no buzzer In the Ligeirinho model
vehicles on the driver’s door (front right).
Yes
Blockage of
doors opening
When the vehicle is running, a speed signal coming from the chassis is sent to the system, which, from this signal on, blocks up the
doors opening. According to the type of chassis, there are different speed signals:
a) VOLVO: Negative signal (ground) indicates vehicle running;
b) SCANIA: Positive signal (24V) indicates vehicle running;
c) MERCEDES: Pulsed signal coming from the tachograph indicates vehicle running.
Yes
Movement
blockage of
the vehicle
When the vehicle has any opened door or ramp, the system sends a blockage signal to the chassis that disables the movement
of the vehicle. VOLVO chassis need a negative signal (ground) to accomplish this blockage. Other chassis accomplish the
blockage with positive signal (24V).
Yes
Calling of the
passenger
When the passenger accomplishes the activation of the driver’s calling button, a warning signal is slighted in the panel and
a blue indicator is lighted on the viewing panel until the door gets opened. A new calling can only be done after the door is
opened.
