A A 1 1 - - Engine oil lavel
Before checking the oil level, make sure
that the engine is off and that the truck
is on a flat surface. To obtain an accura-
te indication, wait a few minutes after
the engine has been switched off to
allow the oil to flow into the crankcase.
Remove dipstick 1 (fig. A1/1) and, after
having cleaned it, check the level of the
oil. Top up through fill hole 2 (fig. A1/2) if
necessary (consult the “LUBRICANT”
table).

- Check the cooling fluid level
Set the truck on level ground, switch off
the engine and allow it to cool.
Slowly turn the plug of radiator 1 (fig.
A2) in an anticlockwise direction until
reaching the safety stop. Allow the pres-
sure and steam to escape.
Push the plug downwards and turn it to
remove. If necessary, add cooling fluid
until the level is 12 mm below fill hole 2
(fig. A2). Lightly lubricate the lip of the fill
hole to facilitate radiator plug entry.

Replacing the cooling fluid
These operations should be carried out
whenever necessary, or once a year
before winter starts. Set the truck on a
perfectly horizontal surface, switch off
the engine and allow it to cool.
Slacken drain plug 3 (fig. A2/2) of the
radiator.
Slacken drain plug 4 (fig. A2/3) of the
cylinder block.

A A 1 1 - - Motorölstand prüfen
Fahrzeug auf ebener Fläche abstellen.
Motor abstellen.
Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit
( das im Kreislauf befindliche ÖL braucht
einige Minuten, um sich in der Ölwanne
zu sammeln) den Ölmessstab "1"herau-
sziehen, reinigen und wieder zurück-
stecken.
Nun den Ölmessstab nochmals ziehen
und den Ölstand ablesen. ( Ölmessstab
während der Prüfung waagerecht hal-
ten) Bei Bedarf Öleinfülldeckel "2"
öffnen und Ölstand ergänzen.(Abb. A1/2)
(vgl. “TABELLE DER FÜLLMENGEN”).

- Standkontrolle der
kühlflüssigkeit
Das Fahrzeug auf ebenem Boden
abstellen, den Motor abstellen und
auskühlen lassen.
Den Kühlerverschlußdeckel "1" (Abb.
A2/1) entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn lang-
sam bis zum Sicherheitsanschlag los-
schrauben.Überdruck und Dampf ablas-
sen.Auf den Verschlußdeckel drücken,
um ihn abschrauben zu können.Falls
erforderlich Kühlwasser nachfüllen, bis
es 12 mm unter der Einfüllöffnung "2"
(Abb. A2/1) steht. Die Kante des
Kühlerstutzens leicht schmieren, damit
der Kühlerverschraubdeckel sich besser
schrauben läßt.
Wenn die Kühlflüssigkeitr sehr warm ist,
nur warme Kühlflüssigkeit zugeben
(80°C).
Kühlflüssigkeit erneuern
Dieser Vorgang ist auszuführen, nach
Bedarf, oder mindestens einmal pro
Jahr, vor Beginn der kalten Jahreszeit
.Das Fahrzeug auf ebener Fläche
abstellen.
Motor abstellen und abkühlen lassen.
Den Ablaßstopfen "3" (Abb. A2/2) am
Kühler entfernen.
Den Ablaßstopfen "4" (Abb. A2/3) am
Motorblock los schrauben.

A A 1 1 - - Controllare olio motore termico
Prima di verificare il livello d’olio, assicu-
rarsi che il motore termico sia spento e
che il carrello si trovi su di una superficie
piana.
Per ottenere indicazioni precise, atten-
dere qualche minuto dopo l’arresto del
motore in modo che l’olio defluisca nel
carter motore.
Togliere l’indicatore di livello 1 (fig.A1/1)
e dopo averlo pulito controllare il livello
dell’olio. Eventualmente rabboccare
attraverso il foro di riempimento 2 (fig.
A1/2) (vedere "LUBRIFICANTI").

- Controllare livello liquido di
raffreddamento
Con il carrello su di una superficie piana
e a motore spento, lasciare raffreddare il
motore.
Girare lentamente il tappo del radiatore
1 (fig. A2/1) in senso antiorario fino al
fermo di sicurezza.
Fare uscire la pressione e il vapore.
Spingere in basso e girare il tappo in
modo da poterlo togliere.
Se necessario, aggiungere refrigerante
fino ad una altezza di 12 mm sotto il
foro di riempimento 2 (fig. A2/1).
- Lubrificare leggermente il bordo del
foro di riempimento per facilitare l’inseri-
mento del tappo del radiatore.

Questa serie di operazioni è da effet-
tuarsi quando sia necessario o una volta
all’anno prima dell’inizio dell’inverno.
Sostituzione del liquido di raffreddamento
Posizionare il carrello su di una superfi-
cie orizzontale, fermare il motore termi-
co lasciarlo raffreddare.
Allentare il tappo di svuotamento 3 (fig.
A2/2) del radiatore.
Allentare il tappo di svuotamento 4 (fig.
A2/3) del blocco motore.
