Lubricating
oil

ISO VG320 standard item
After assembling the slewing reduction gears and hydraulic motor,
feed lubricating oil from the oil filler port to the specified quantity.
14.1.1 TOLERANCE OF LOOSENESS HEIGHT OF SLEWING BEARING
If a gap increases, a contact ellipse generated at the contact point of the orbit and steel ball approaches the joint of
the inner and outer rings when the bearing is subjected to a moment load. A part protrudes from the orbit and
depression may be caused at the orbit edge.
As a guide line, a value with reference to the contact angle having this fear is shown below.
Use this value as a reference of the allowable range of looseness.
1. Fix the inner ring to the rigid body.
2. Set a dial gauge as shown in the illustration.
3. Shake the outer ring. At this time, do not apply a
large force. Shake it with man power. (This is to
prevent elastic deformation from being caused on
the orbit and steel ball.)
Tolerance of looseness: “2.62 mm” or less based on
the reading of the dial gauge
No load
