Select
the
Enable Measurement History
checkbox.

If you want to send a measurement interval exceedance alert, select
your preferred method in-line with
Alerts
, then select a
Trigger
Source
and
Trigger Level (dB)
for the alert. The Trigger Level cannot
be less than 0.1 (dB).
TAKE NOTE
Trigger Sources
for this alert include the following statistics:
LAeq, LCeq, LZeq, Lmax, Lmin
, and all 6 values of
Ln
. If the current dB level is
greater than the Trigger Level (dB)
of the selected Trigger Source
at any time
during the current measurement interval, the 831C sends an alert notification
via email or text when the interval ends.

Auto-Store
setting. With Measurement History enabled in Manual Run/Stop or
Stop When Stable mode, the meter will store data after the

Make a measurement.
TRY THIS
With Measurement History enabled, sequentially pressing the STOP/STORE
and RUN/PAUSE buttons stores the measurement and initiates another
measurement. This eliminates the need to perform a separate store.
Selecting Timed Stop Mode With Measurement History
When Measurement History is enabled, Timed Stop allows you to
automatically make and store the number of measurements you set as the
Measurement Counter and then stop. Subsequent runs, each manually
initiated, produce the same number of stored measurements.

In the
Time (hh:mm:ss)
field, enter a length of time for the
measurement.

Select
the
Enable Measurement History
checkbox, and enter the
number of measurement records you want in the
Measurement
Counter
field.
TAKE NOTE
To use the
Measurement
Counter
, the value of
Time
must be
greater than 00:01:00 (1 min).
