SoundAdvisor Model 831C
Setting Up Markers for Sound Recording
18-1
Module 18
Using 831C Sound Recording
S
ound recordings on the 831C are often used to identify the source of loud
noises during a measurement.
This feature is available when you purchase and install firmware option 831C-
SR. The upgrade allows you to trigger a recording and add a sound type label
to the resulting measurement data using 3 methods: by creating a manual
sound recording, by setting automated event-triggered recording, and by
using measurement history event recording. This section covers each method
and the related settings and options.
