3.2.3 Operating the 831C from a Web Browser
We recommend using G4 LD Utility or LD Atlas, but if needed you can operate
your meter remotely by using a web browser.
Step 1
Establish a network connection from the 831C to the Internet. For more
information, see
Module 13 831C Network and Connections
Step 2
You may want to consider activating the 831C network and meter security
features described in
Module 11 Managing 831C Security
Step 3
Open a web browser on a mobile device or PC. We recommend using Google
Chrome.
Step 4
In the address field, type the IP address of your 831C Sound Advisor.

indicate where your future data files will be stored.

After a measurement, the system properties do not save or prompt you to
save the measurement data. Choose this setting if you plan to use an auto
store option in the setup file or the Scheduling firmware option (831C-SCH).
