If the weather option is enabled on your meter, use the right (

This section applies only when weather accessories are
connected to the 831C. On the Setup Manager Weather tab,
set the
Weather
station type and any other applicable values
for the measurement of wind speed, wind direction, tempera

ture and humidity.

If the wind speed is above the
Threshold
, it is considered
windy.

Excd. Pause
is set to

, when the wind speed exceeds
Excd. Level
, sound exceedances are held off.

During a wind exceedance (with sound exceedance
paused), the wind speed must drop below the

before sound exceedance pause is turned off.

To save your Setup and exit the Setup Manager, select

to save your settings.

Highlight and press

on the name of the Setup you created.

In the pop-up menu that appears,
Set to Active
is highlighted.

select that option. The next measurement runs using the Setup you just
created.

simple, file transfer-style interface for configuring, saving, and transferring
