Foot Pedal

Door Stop:
Toggles the Door Stops UP or
DOWN.
Door Clamp:
Toggles the Door Clamps
UP or DOWN.
The Foot Pedal offers
another method to con-
trol the process of the
door. The Door Stop and
Door Clamp may also be
controlled at the Opera-
tor’s Stations’ Interface.
Emergency Shutdown and Recovery
Depending on the model of machine, there are emergency shutdown (E-
Stop) switches located at key points around the machine.
The E-Stop switches are to be used when the machine is out of control or is
about to damage personnel or equipment.
When an E-Stop switch is activated, high voltage power is cut to the
machine. The motors will stop, however power to the PLC and the Operator
Station Screen will remain on.
Note:
The machine responds in the same way if you press the STOP button on the
operator's station.
To Resume Normal Operation after an E-Stop
If an E-Stop is activated, use the following procedure to recover, after the cause of the emergency
stop is resolved:
1.
De-activate the E-Stop switch by pulling it out.
2.
Push the
START MACHINE
button on the operator's station
