The cutting unit is blunt.
Remove contamination from the cutting unit.
Replace the cutting unit.
The twine brake has not been

Set the twine brake with increased force, see chapter
Settings, "Setting the twine brake".

Filling the bale chamber
Possible cause
Remedy
FMI 0: The maximum filling of the bale chamber has been reached. The round bale is forcibly
tied, even if it should be manually tied. This may damage the machine in the long term.
Too many crops loaded too
quickly into the bale chamber.
Reduce the driving speed earlier and adjust to the swath.
Advance signalling has not
been set.
Set advance signalling,
Advance signalling has been
ignored and the bale chamber
loaded with too many crops.
Observe advance signalling.
Do not permanently overload the bale chamber.

Bale chamber, bale formation conveyor
Possible cause
Remedy
FMI 1: The setpoint speed of the bale formation conveyor of the bale chamber was below the
minimum.
The bale formation conveyor
is rotating slower than it
should. It is slipping.
Use less blades.
Switch off the blades fully or remove in part.
Reduce the baling pressure.
Check and adjust the sensor B01 "Speed of bale chamber",

Very heavy and/or wet crops
are loaded.

Round bale in the bale chamber
Possible cause
Remedy
FMI 0: There is a filling problem. The round bale in the bale chamber is too small on the right-
hand side.
Extremely uneven filling of the
bale chamber. More crops
were fed in on the left side
than on the right side.
Fill the bale chamber more evenly.
Drive more slowly at the end of the round bale.
