The hydraulic oil filter (2) is situated behind the side hood at the film compartment.
The hydraulic oil filter (2) traps solid particles that have been separated out of the hydraulic
system. Damage to the components of the hydraulic cycle can thus be avoided.
The contamination indicator (1) provides visual information about the degree of contamination of
the hydraulic oil filter.
• Prior to each use, check the contamination indicator (1).

Green
Filter element (3) is sufficiently clean.
red
Filter element (3) must be replaced.
If the contamination indicator (1) jumps out when starting up in cold condition:
• Only push in the contamination indicator (1) again once the operating temperature has been
achieved.
• If the contamination indicator (1) jumps out again immediately, replace the filter element (3)
as follows.

Replacing the filter element (3)
New filter elements can be ordered stating the order number 27 018 688 *.
• Depressurise the hydraulic system.
• Unscrew and clean the bottom of the filter (4).
• Remove the filter element (3).
• Insert the new filter element (3).
• Check the O-ring seal at the filter element (3) and replace it if necessary with a new O-ring
seal with identical properties.
• Screw the bottom of the filter (4) onto the filter head.
• Charge the hydraulic system with pressure and check for leaks.
Note
Store or dispose of used oil and oil filters according to statutory regulations.
