Observe the small

Power

lamp on the Ethernet switch.

Unit display

Mode switch

Power button and indicator

The LED shall be green to indicate that the switch is powered up.

POWER

Power up the SN90 using the

Power

button on the Operating Panel.

Check that the lamps on the power supply are lit.

Verify that the fans are started.

Verify that the LEDs on the Ethernet switch flash to indicate traffic between the
circuit boards in the transceiver and the Processor Unit.

Install the door on the transceiver cabinet.

Note

The heat exchanger is heavy.

Place the door on its frame.

Tighten the four bolts that secure the door.

Connect the power cable to the heat exchanger.

Further requirements

If you still have problems with the Transceiver Unit, contact your dealer or the Simrad
support team.
