Connecting the transducer plug to the Transceiver Unit
The large transducer plug must be firmly connected to the side socket on the transceiver
before you can power up the SN90.
Prerequisites

We assume that you are equipped with a standard set of tools.
This tool set must comprise the normal tools for electronic and
electromechanical tasks, such as screwdrivers, pliers, spanners,
a cable stripper etc. Each tool must be provided in various
sizes. We recommend that all tools are demagnetized to protect
your equipment.
Context
Once the transducer plug is connected to the Transceiver Unit,
the SN90 may be powered up for the first time.
WARNING
The SN90 must never be powered up to transmit when the
transducer is in the air. This may damage the transducer
beyond repair. If you are doing this part of the installation
while vessel is in dry dock, take all necessary precautions,
and DO NOT power up the SN90.
Procedure

Verify that the plug housing is clean and not damaged in any way.

Verify that the gasket is clean and not damaged in any way.

Mount the transducer plug.
