Common Commands
The service request enable register is cleared when the instrument is turned on. The
*RST and *CLS commands do not change the register. The *SRE? query returns the
value of the service request enable register.
Query Response
<integer>
from 0 to 63 or from 128 to 191.
Example
OUTPUT 720;”*SRE 32”
In this example, the command enables ESB (event summary) bit 5 in the status byte
register to generate a service request.
