3. Disconnect the hose connecting the raw water intake seacock and the sea strainer
at the seacock and drain the water into the bilge.
4. Open the valve at the bottom of the sea strainer and drain all the water into the
bilge.
5. Disconnect the hose connecting the raw water pump and the sea strainer at the
sea strainer and drain the all water from the unit.
6. Loosen the screws on the raw water intake pump and allow water to drain into the
bilge.
Refrigerator
The following de-commissioning procedure should be performed:
1. Remove all food from refrigerator and freezer compartments.
2. Slide the freezer control all the way left to the ‘OFF’ position.
3. Turn OFF the circuit breaker labeled ‘ REFRIGERATOR’ on the 120V AC
Inverter Bypass Panel.
4. Disconnect the refrigerator power cord from the electrical outlet.
5. Clean and dry the refrigerator and freezer thoroughly.
6. Leave the doors open to prevent odors.
Shower Drains
The following de-commissioning procedure should be performed for each shower:
1. Turn ON the two circuit breakers on 24V DC Main Panel Disconnect labeled
‘ MASTER HEAD SHOWER PUMP ’ and ‘ GUEST HEAD SHOWER
PUMP ’.
2. Turn the switch on the front right panel of each Head sink to ON and drain all
water from each water collection basin.
3. Turn OFF the switch on the front right panel of each Head sink.
4. Turn OFF the ‘‘ MASTER HEAD SHOWER PUMP ’ and ‘ GUEST HEAD
SHOWER PUMP ’ circuit breakers.
Steering System (Hynautic®)
On each visit to the vessel, you should do the following:
1. Check the air pressure on the reservoir and DO NOT let it drop below 40 psi
(272 Mpa).
2. Turn the wheel hard over Port to Starboard several times each visit.
3. DO NOT leave the steering wheel in the same position each visit.
Windlass
The windlass needs no special de-commissioning procedure. Make sure the circuit
breaker labeled ‘
BOW THRUSTER WINDLASS’ on the 24V DC NAV./COM.
Electronics Panel is kept in the OFF position until re-commissioning.
