Windshield Wiper/Washer System Basic Service and
Maintenance
The power supply line on the circuit board inside the junction box, located in the
Pilothouse in the compartment under the steering station, has an integrated 2A fuse. Each
wiper outlet has an integrated 6A fuse, also located in the junction box.
To change either the power supply line fuse or a wiper outlet fuse, you should do the
following:
1. Remove the cover to the junction box.
2. Remove the faulty fuse.
3. Install the new fuse.
4. Replace the cover and screws.
Tools and Equipment Needed
•
Replacement fuses (2A or 6A)
•
Screw driver
Replace blades when visibly worn or blades leave stripes across the glass.
DO NOT
run the wipers on a dry windshield.
To preserve the life of the wiper blades, rinse the windshields with fresh water after each
exposure to salt spray.
