ON/OFF Switching
Press the ON/OFF button and all wipers will turn ON and operate in the same
configuration as when last turned OFF. Press the ON/OFF again to turn all wipers OFF.
Individual wipers can be turned ON and OFF by pressing the corresponding button for
that wiper. The light above the button will illuminate. Wiper blades will self-park in the
corner of the window.
When an individual wiper is turned ON, there will be a short delay of the other wipers to
synchronize operation.
Intermittent Modes
To switch from continuous mode to intermittent, press the left arrow once. To increase
the frequency of wiping, press the right arrow. To decrease the frequency of wiping,
press the left arrow. To switch from intermittent mode to continuous mode, press the
right arrow button until all LEDs are illuminated.
High Speed Mode
To operate all wipers in continuous mode at the highest frequency, press the right button
until all LEDs are illuminated.
Wipe/Wash
When the WASH button is pressed, all wipers will start (or momentarily change to) the
continuous mode. Hold the WASH button down for the length of time you want the
windshield washing fluid to spray onto the windshield. When you release the WASH
button, all wipers will make another few strokes before returning to their previous setting.
The wipe/wash cycle can be custom programmed to include only certain wipers when the
WASH function is activated. See the “Exalto
® Operations Manual” for details.
The Imtra Wiper/Washer System is piped to the fresh water supply system. There is no
reservoir. Refer to Figure 14 – Fresh Water Piping Schematic for details. The circuit
breaker labeled ‘
FRESH WATER PUMP ’ on the 24V DC Main Panel or the 120/240V
AC Distribution Panel No. 1 must be ON for the Wash function to operate.
