opened for appliance use. To test the system for leaks, you should do the following:
1.
Close all Range burner and broiler control valves by turning the controls to the
OFF
position.
2.
OPEN
the cylinder supply valve on top of the tank selected for use by turning the
valve in a
counterclockwise
direction.
3.
Turn
ON
the circuit breakers labeled
‘PROPANE SOLENOID’
on the 12V DC
NAV./COM. Electronics Panel and ‘
PROPANE STOVE’
on the Inverter Bypass
Panel in the Pilothouse.
4.
Switch
ON
the Solenoid Control switch located on the bulkhead to the left of the
Range.
5.
Test light a burner to verify that LPG pressure is supplied to the range. Once
pressure is verified, again close all burners per step 1.
6.
Make a
note
of the reading on the pressure gauge on the selected LPG tank.
7.
Close the cylinder supply valve. Leave the solenoid valve
OPEN.
8.
Wait 10 minutes
.
9.
Read the pressure again.
10.
Switch
OFF
the Solenoid Control switch.
11.
Turn
OFF
the
‘PROPANE SOLENOID’
and
‘PROPANE STOVE
’ circuit
breakers if the Range will not be used.
If the pressure does NOT remain constant for 10 minutes (step 8), gas is leaking out
of the system.
The leak should be located by applying a mixture of liquid detergent and
water to
all
connections and other suspect points and checking for bubbles.
Never
attempt to locate leaks by using an open flame.
Repair and re-test the system before
putting the system into operation. If leaks persist, consult a qualified LPG Service Center.
CAUTION
Keep combustible materials away from burners when in use.
CAUTION
Vessel motion may cause hot liquids to spill.
