10.2.4 eve COMMUNICATION – Communication Settings
In the eve COMMUNICATION menu, permissions for server ac-
cess as well as their security settings for communication with the
bioprocess platform software eve
®
are set.
INFORMATION
Display of the equipment name (
Device Name
) and its network ad-
dress (

mation is required for configuration of the connection in eve
®
(equipment manufacturer’s bioprocess platform software)
SERVER ACCESS
Determine whether the bioreactor is invisible (

), only availa-
ble for read access (

) or available for read and write ac-
cess (
Read/Write
) in the OPC UA.
SERVER SECURITY
Determine whether communication between the bioreactor and the
OPC UA client (e.g. eve
®
) is unencrypted (
No Security
), signed
