cover
on
top
of
the
server
so
that
approximately
13
mm
(0.5
inch)
extends
from
the
rear.

Make
sure
that
the
cover-release
latch
is
up.
4.
Slide
the
top
cover
forward
and
into
position,
pressing
the
release
latch
closed.
5.
Slide
the
server
into
the
rack.
6.
To
install
the
bezel,
tilt
the
bezel
and
align
the
metal
studs
with
the
latches;
then,
straighten
the
bezel
and
snap
it
into
place.
Removing
and
replacing

may
install
a
Tier
2
CRU
yourself
or
request
IBM
to
install
it,
at
no
additional
charge,
under
the
type
of
warranty
service
that
is
designated
for
your
server.

that
you
must
consider
when
replacing
the
battery
in
the
server.

battery,

replace
it
with
a
lithium
battery
of
the
same
type
from
the
same
manufacturer.

you
replace
the
battery,
you
must
reconfigure

server
and
reset
the
system
date
and
time.

or
an
equivalent
type
battery
recommended
by
the
manufacturer.
If
your
system
has
a
module
containing
a
lithium
battery,
replace
it
only
with

same
module
type
made
by
the
same
manufacturer.
The
battery
contains
lithium
and
can
explode
if
not
properly
used,
handled,
or
disposed
of.
Do

Repair

disassemble
Dispose
of
the
battery
as
required
by
local
ordinances
or
regulations.

remove
the
battery,

off

peripheral
devices,
and
disconnect
the
power
cords
and
all
external
cables
necessary
to
replace
