If you enter the power-on password and an
administrator (supervisor-level) password is also set, a
limited version of the menu appears. To see the full
menu, you must restart the server and enter the
administrator password when you are prompted to
enter a password. See “System security” on page 25
for additional information.
The Configuration/Setup Utility program main menu
appears. For information about the menu, see
“Configuration/Setup Utility main menu.”
Configuration/Setup Utility main menu
From the Configuration/Setup Utility main menu, you can
select settings that you want to change. The
Configuration/Setup Utility main menu is similar to the
following screen:

Note
The choices on some menus might differ slightly,
depending on the BIOS version that comes with the
server.
To change configuration settings:
1. Use the Up Arrow (
↑
) or Down Arrow (
↓
) key to
highlight the menu item for the configuration setting
that you want to change; then, press Enter.
2. Use the Left Arrow (
←
) or Right Arrow (
→
) key to
choose the appropriate setting for the selected menu
item; then, press Enter.
3. Repeat step 1 through step 2 for each setting that
you want to change. Press Esc to return to the
Configuration/Setup Utility main menu.
