Troubleshooting Procedure
NOTE
Saving the results of each troubleshooting step is recommended. If troubleshooting fails to correct the fault,
you will have a record of your actions to provide Huawei technical support personnel.
Procedure
Step 1
Check that a route destined for the multicast source is available.
Run the
display ip routing-table
ip-address
command to check whether the local routing table
contains a route destined for the multicast source.
NOTE
ip-address
specifies the multicast source address.

If not, configure a route destined for the multicast source.

If yes, go to step 2.
Step 2
Check that the inbound and outbound interfaces of the multicast forwarding entry function
properly.
